Snug and rustic

This season, rich ochre and terracotta bring to mind the colours of falling leaves as we bid a fond farewell to the light and welcome dark, cosy evenings. Applied to rugs, throws and cushions in timeless designs rooted in Swedish traditions, this time of the year feels anything but dull.

Inspired by homes of the past, updated for the future – patterns rooted in Swedish traditions make a bold comeback. They bring colour and a sprinkling of nostalgia, but with a modern look to cushions, rugs and bedding. Some call it timeless design, but we like to think of it more as patterns and designs with no expiry date.

It's time to hunker down and hibernate. You can never have too many cushions and throws. Layers of bedlinen create a comfy nest – for night and day – and don't forget to add a lantern or two for extra "hygge" factor.
